Book 4 – Part 7
Aiden, with the help of his comrades, successfully defeated the Cyhyraeth [death spirit] inside Gorthbychan [Little Keep] and acquired the bracers of Fyngailig.
The company continued their march to escape from Groes Bryniau. On the first night their camp was ambushed by three giants who wanted to steal Aiden’s cathmawr pelt.
The next day, they encountered a troop of orks who were pursuing them for the sack of Dolnogg. It was the same troop they had met on their way to Dolnogg, and their leader, Borug, challenged Lee to a duel for the dishonor of lying. Lee convinced Borug that the ork archer in their group was a traitor, and the company went on their way.
On the third day, the company was discovered by an ork tracker, who blew a horn to signal other orks, then the trackers started trailing the company. The group set up an ambush and started taking out the orks, but when they realized they would eventually get overrun by superior numbers, they abandoned their plan and continued their journey.
On the fourth day they encountered a lone ork zargrider and defeated him in battle. On the fifth day they encountered three ork zargriders. They defeated two, as the third one fled, but their situation grew desperate, as more ork signal horns could be heard all around them.
